I've only got a portion of my journals transcribed, and no pictures yet. I was ready for another vacation (it had been over 2 years since my last vacation, see February Trip - 2001 ). By chance, a good friend from graduate school was getting married in The Gambia in June. So I decided to make a vacation of it, spending a week travelling in Senegal and The Gambia, then a week in France. I wrote most of these entries on the road.
